The American Nightmare

Funny I should get this forwarded email on the day after the Boston explosions [all sic]:

Written by a USMC vet

(I can’t argue with any of it. Passing it along as it was received.)

He wrote:

The American Dream ended (on November 6th) in Ohio. The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the “forever needy,” the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other “fellow travelers” have ended Norman Rockwell’s America.

The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch…the Pit Bull is in the back yard. The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn’t even win their own home states, and the circus fattster Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing “post Sandy” tribute that elevated the “Commander-in-Chief” to Mother Teresa status.

People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates — not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to “white guilt” and political correctness…..

I’m done.

Again, I remind you this is all sic, lest you suspect I’ve suddenly become borderline illiterate or completely psychotic.

True Americans

In any case, it’s ironic this comes so soon after someone planted bombs to kill and blow the legs off innocent people watching a foot race. Whoever set those bombs off hates America and hates Americans.

So does the self-described USMC vet who penned this shotgun slur against humanity.

As does the person who sent me this in an email.

Now, let’s ponder this letter-writer. He claims to have served in the United States Marine Corps. Let’s take him at his word. That means he was willing to do battle for his country. He also was willing to lose his life for it. Which is ironic, considering the fact he believes that pretty much everything about America is evil.

Defending A Sliver Of America

We’ll recap whom he thinks is not a real American [in the order he’s listed them]:

• Women
• People with dark skin
• Latinos
• Feminists
• Homosexuals
• Letter carriers, FBI agents, police officers, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics, crossing guards, garbagemen, Bureau of Motor Vehicles clerks, prosecutors, public defenders, judges, sheriffs, bailiffs, mayors, aldermen, state senators, all members of Congress, [I must stop here because listing every “government worker” would take up too much precious bandwidth]

Bad Guys

• Everybody who belongs to a labor or professional services union
• Anybody who’s concerned with air or water pollution
• All employees of any newspaper, radio station,television station, internet site, or magazine
• Anyone who has ever appeared in or worked on a television show or movie
• A huge swath of people under the age of, say, 30

Ruining America

■

• [I have no idea what in the goddamned hell “the forever needy” means]
• Anybody who’s been laid off, downsized, outsourced, or otherwise terminated from employment
• The beings from the planet Zendar who are living among us without proper authorization
• Anybody who’s ever taken a trip with anyone else
• Pit bulls
• Community organizers
• Political consultants
• Liberal investment managers
• Beige people

Beige?

• Corpulent New Jersey governors
• Moderates
• RINOs
• And finally, those who harbor something called “white guilt”

Which leaves, of course, those “white Christian males” the letter writer mentions early on. Except many of the people listed above can themselves be described as white Christian males so even this narrow category is down to a precious few.

So few, in fact, that it’s a good bet the only human being the letter writer doesn’t hate is himself.

And, to be quite frank, I wouldn’t bet that this fellow thinks much of himself.

So the question is still open regarding whom he might be willing to kill and be killed for when he was a Marine.

Maybe he just enjoyed the sight of blood, severed limbs, and eviscerations.

Just like the guy or guys who planted those bombs in Boston.
