Well, look what landed on my desk this AM:
Yep, it’s an advance copy of Annie Corrigan’s new book, Earth Eats: Real Food Green Living. It’ll hit the streets April 10th. Annie, of course, is the host of the WFIU Saturday morning show, “Earth Eats” (what else?). She and her kitchen confrère, Chef Daniel Orr of FARMbloomington, our town’s definitive eatery on Kirkwood Avenue, collaborated to put out this collection of dozens and dozens of recipes, anecdotes from the hot stove set, and tips and twaddle about the stuff we jam into our mouths.
Annie’s as thrilled as a kid who’s just found out she’s getting an Easy-Bake Oven™ for Christmas. She’s a loyal Pencillista — as are scads of ‘FIU personalities — so start putting your pocket change aside and cop the tome this coming spring. It just screams out Mother’s or Father’s Day gift, doesn’t it?
